Our story

In 2013, four consultants trained between Casablanca, Paris and Montreal reached the same conclusion: in Morocco, advanced medicine exists — but it is scattered. A patient consults here, has imaging there, collects results somewhere else, and carries the burden of coordination alone. The time lost is sometimes counted in months. Sometimes it is counted differently.

Al Manar was born from one conviction: bring consultation, imaging, laboratory and follow-up under one roof, with a single medical record and a team that actually talks to itself. Not to go faster — to lose nothing along the way.

Twelve years on, we are 68 consultants and 214 staff across 6,800 m². What has not changed: a consultation lasts thirty minutes, not fifteen. And the doctor who sees you is the one who calls you back.

Mission

To make available, in Casablanca, a medicine whose technical precision is matched only by the attention paid to the person — never making the patient carry the weight of the organisation.

Vision

To become, by 2030, the Maghreb’s reference private institution for early diagnosis and personalised preventive medicine.

Our values

Six principles we wrote down in black and white, and on which our teams are assessed.

Rigour

Every protocol is written, audited and revised twice a year. Our complication rates are measured, published internally and discussed at a monthly morbidity review.

Time given

Thirty minutes per consultation, forty-five for a first visit. Time is not an adjustable variable: it is the cheapest and most reliable diagnostic tool there is.

Transparency

The quote is handed over before the procedure, never after. No test is prescribed without its usefulness being explained and its cost stated.

Confidentiality

Encrypted records, hosted in Morocco, compliant with law 09-08. No health data leaves the institution without your written consent.

Equity

12% of our activity is dedicated to free solidarity consultations, in partnership with four Casablanca associations.

Transmission

An accredited teaching site for the Casablanca Faculty of Medicine. Twenty-two residents trained with us each year.

Twelve years, step by step

From 1,200 m² and nine consultants to 6,800 m² and sixty-eight doctors.

2013
Opening on boulevard d’Anfa
1,200 m², nine consultants, four specialties. The first consultation takes place on a Tuesday in November, at 8:10.
2015
Imaging platform
First CT scanner and 4D ultrasound installed. Average time to obtain imaging drops from 19 days to 48 hours.
2017
Integrated laboratory
On-site medical biology, seven days a week. Routine results returned in under three hours.
2019
ISO 9001 certification
First full external audit. The patient journey is redesigned end to end from its findings.
2021
Extension: 6,800 m²
New paediatric wing, day-surgery theatre and a 24/7 emergency unit.
2023
3T MRI & diagnostic AI
A 3T MRI goes live alongside AI-assisted radiology reading — always validated by a senior radiologist.
2025
Institute of preventive medicine
A dedicated centre for personalised health assessments and early detection opens, in partnership with CHU Ibn Rochd.
