General medicine is not triage medicine. It is the specialty of synthesis: the one that connects a shortness of breath, a fatigue and a blood panel into a single line of reasoning. Our GPs have direct access to imaging and the laboratory, which lets them conclude in one session what would take three appointments elsewhere. They also manage chronic conditions — diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidaemia — with an automated recall protocol so no check-up is missed.
